John is employed as the Director of Training at the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training, Ireland (NIBRT). As a member of NIBRT’s management team he works with colleagues to drive new business initiatives in the areas of workforce readiness and skills development.  John also delivers modules in Biopharmaceutical Science within the Higher Education Sector. John obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from UCD and he has over 25 yrs experience in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals. Before joining NIBRT his experience in the Biopharma manufacturing industry included process development, technical transfer, commercial GMP manufacture and technical operations.
