Dr. Fleming graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry (Hons) from University College Cork before completing his PhD studies at the Rowett Research Institute in the University of Aberdeen. He subsequently did post-doctoral training at Harvard University, the University of Massachusetts, and the University of Lisbon, before returning to UCC as a Lecturer in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. He is Director of the part-time MSc in BioPharmaceutical Processing (incorporating PG-Cert and PG-Diploma exit awards), and the Higher Diploma in Design and Manufacture of BioPharmaceuticals, at UCC.
