Lorcan O’Toole is a pharmaceutical operations leader with 30+ years’ experience manufacturing pharmaceutical drug product with Sanofi/Genzyme, LEO Pharma, Organon and Aerie.  Lorcan has held leadership roles for over 20 years across a range of DP formats including aseptic fill finish, solid oral dose, semi-solid products and secondary packaging with responsibilities including manufacturing, process engineering, technology transfer/NPI, and supply chain. Most recently, Lorcan lead the build of the manufacturing, technical and supply chain teams and systems for the start-up of Aerie pharmaceutical’s sterile ophthalmic manufacturing plant in Athlone. He currently leads Aerie’s manufacturing, technical, CMC alliance with Aerie’s worldwide commercial partner while managing the Athlone site’s global launch readiness and execution programs.
