Greywolf Therapeutics, a clinical-stage Oxford biotech, has been named Biotech Company of the Year at the Pharma Industry Awards UK 2026, held on 23rd September at the Park Plaza London Riverbank. The company entered as defending Biotech Company of the Year and leaves with the title once again.

The past 12 months have been transformative for Greywolf Therapeutics. The company secured major new financing, earned an oral slot to share data from its oncology programme at ASCO 2026, started a new R&D partnership with Genomics, and attracted significant pharmaceutical partnership interest.

The judges pointed to the platform behind that momentum. "The judges recognised Greywolf Therapeutics for its highly innovative biotechnology platform and the potential it holds for patients with limited treatment options," they said. "The development of a novel approach supported by first in class clinical evidence across difficult to treat tumour types demonstrates significant scientific progress."

"Strong financing, international trial execution, biomarker development, and pharmaceutical partnerships further highlight the company's growing impact and momentum," the judges added.

The result shows what the strongest biotech companies are expected to deliver today: clinical evidence in areas of high unmet need, the capital to keep programmes moving, and partners who see the commercial and scientific potential. For Greywolf Therapeutics, all three are now in place.

The Biotech Company of the Year result sets a strong benchmark for the next awards cycle, with the industry continuing to advance new approaches to treatment and clinical development. Stay tuned for details of the Pharma Industry Awards UK 2027.
